Glenna Maye (Warren) Sarver, 88, of Corning, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at the residence of her eldest son and surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on Friday, April 29, 1938 in Edinburg, the daughter of the late Everett Lewis and Mary Garnet (Dufford) Warren. In November of 1957, Glenna married the love of her life, Harry Sarver and they began their family together. In her working days, she was a cook at Perry County Headstart and later worked at PERCO in New Lexington. Glenna was an avid reader and enjoyed working puzzles. She loved kids and animals and actually raised tarantula spiders and enjoyed taking them to Headstart for the kids to see. She loved shopping and traveling with her husband. Glenna was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and strength touched many lives throughout the years. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory including her children, Ed Sarver and spouse, Vicky, Mike Sarver and spouse, Brenda, Cheryl and spouse, Alan, Joyce and spouse, Mark, Harry Sarver, Bob Sarver and spouse, Angie. Glenna is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and her siblings, Mary Belle Morris, Tom Warren, Jim Foster, Bob Foster and Kenny Foster. In addition to her parents, Glenna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harrison Nation Sarver; her siblings, Everette Warren, Ralph Warren and Jeanette Vernon; her grandson, Brent Sarver and her step-father, James Foster. Glenna will be remembered for her love of family, her caring heart and many memories she created with those she loved. Her presence will be deeply missed but her legacy will continue through the generations of family she leaves behind. Family and friends may visit to pay respects 3-7 PM, Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, May 18, 2026 at the funeral home with Kyle Eveland as celebrant. Glenna will be laid to rest in Community Gardens Cemetery, near New Lexington.
