Geraldine Marie Worley

Geraldine Marie Worley, 78, peacefully died in the afternoon hours of Saturday, July 12, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Roseville.

She was born one of four children on November 17, 1946, in Johnson City, NY, to the late Bryce and Helen (Crandle) Oakley-Hand.

Gerri worked for many years as a warranty clerk for Vern Buchanan Honda in Ocala, Florida. She also served many years as a volunteer firefighter with the West Marion Volunteer Fire Department alongside her husband Joseph. Gerri enjoyed traveling, spending most of her years between Florida, Ohio and Arkansas, visiting her daughters and grandchildren. Her life was blessed, she was a woman who loved her family and her Lord and would worship him within the walls of Anchor Church in Crooksville, Ohio.

Gerri is survived in life by her daughters, Shawn (James) Miller, Stacie (Brandon) Bedard and Shari (Ted) Southall; her darling grandchildren, Echo Southall, Autumn Southall, Micah Southall, Matthew Southall, Bryce Bedard and Kody-Lee (McKenzie) Miller, Dakota (Chandra) Casteel; her great-grandchildren, Gunnar, Kiara and Bentley as well as her sisters, Barbara Fairbanks and Kathleen Rosser.

In addition to her parents, Gerri is welcomed into eternal life by husband, Joseph Worley, who died October 20, 2023; her stepfather, Gerald Hand; her brother, Dick Oakley and her brothers-in-law, Doug Fairbanks and Lloyd Rosser.

The family will announce a memorial service to be held in Florida at a later date, Geraldine Marie Worley will be cremated, and await the general resurrection and life everlasting.
