George A. Bobb

George Allen Bobb, 56, of Somerset, Ohio, formerly of Crooksville passed away at 3:56 PM, Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster following a sudden illness.

George was born May 8, 1955 in Zanesville, the son of the late George E. Bobb and Helen Hale Bobb of Crooksville.

Mr. Bobb was a former employee of Ballis Egg Company in Zanesville, he was a welder and former owner of several rental properties in the area.

George is survived by his wife of forty years, Nonnie Driggs Bobb; his son, Roger Bobb(Rebecca Jimerson) of Philo; his sisters, Tina (Michael) Bennett of Malta and Brenda Yarger of Crooksville; his brothers, James (Patricia) Bobb of Rehobeth, Terry(Diana) Bobb,Mike (Rose) Bobb, Bill(Sandy) Bobb, Dave (Sherry) Bobb, Steve (Kelly) Bobb and Tim (Lisa) Bobb all of Crooksville; five grandchildren, Skyla Severt, Kaitilin Flowers, Jake Flowers, Keely Bobb and Seth Bobb.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Theisen, his son-in-law, David Theisen and his brother, Roger Bobb.

Family and friends will be received 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST. CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of George's life will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Wilbur McKee officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb Cemetery near Crooksville.
