Esther F. Ford

Esther Fern (Ashford) Ford, 92 of Roseville, passed away at 8:55 am Saturday, June 12, 2010, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Esther was born February 12, 1918 in Cannelville the daughter of the late Thede and Lora (Terrill) Ashford. She was a homemaker and a caring and adoring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Esther was a 50 plus year member of the Bluffdale Mothers Club and a lifetime resident of Roseville. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and married Glenn H. Ford on November 24, 1936.


Esther is survived by four daughters: Barbara Printz of McLuney, Susie (Carl) Kane of Edinburgh, Ind. Roberta (Glen) Wycinski of Norwich, Joni (Tom) Miller of Roseville; one son: Teddy (Ginny) Ford of Roseville, Eleven grandchildren: Debbie, Theresa, Tedi, Glenn, Len, Cheryl, Marcia, Ryan, Chris, Jody, Jimmy; 22 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years: Glenn H. Ford who died July 7, 1990.

The Ford Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday June 14th at the Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday. Funeral services and a celebration of Esther's life will be held at 1:00 PM. Tuesday, June 15 with Rev. Albert Laese officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
