Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Levering

Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Levering, 86, of 4704 Ceramic Rd. NE Crooksville, passed away at 5:49 am on June 11, 2010 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 24, 1923 in New Lexington the daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Russell McGreevy and was a member of The Church of Atonement. Betty was a graduate of the American Floral Art School of Chicago, Co-Owner of Levering Florist a member of FTD Florists Assoc., Fidelis Mother's Club and The VFW 9090 Auxiliary in Crooksville.

Betty is survived by her daughter: Molly Jane Cook of Crooksville, six grandchildren, Fred (Julie) Cook Jr., Matthew (Adawn) Cook, Greg (Tammy) Cook, Emily Vanoster and special friend, Chris, Erin (Mike) Poirier, Jay (Sara) Cook and John Vanoster; sixteen great grandchildren: Noah, Rachel, Clayton, Coleson, Tanner, Ellie, Austin, Kodi, Ethan, Tea, Nicole, Brandon, Joshua, Alex, Ayla and Leyah, one sister: Patricia L. Dodson of Millersport, and one brother: Joseph M. McGreevy Jr. of Crooksville

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Harold J. Levering who died August 12, 2006 and one brother: John R. (Jack) McGreevy

The Levering family will receive friends, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2010 at The Goebel Funeral Home, 36 North Buckeye St. Crooksville where the Rosary will be recited at 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, June 14, at the Church of Atonement with Fr. Victor Wesolowski as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
