Earl Eugene Lipps

Earl Eugene Lipps, 61, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away early Tuesday morning, September 11, 2012 at his residence following an extended illness.

Earl was born June 4, 1951 in New Lexington, the son of the late Hugh H.'Cedric' Lipps and Norma (Rose) Perani of Crooksville.

Earl was a former employee of Owens-Corning in Newark. He attended McLuney Wesleyan Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rita Ross Lipps; his daughter, Makala (Travis) German of Crooksville; his sons, Josh Lipps of Georgia and Adam Lipps of Crooksville; his sisters, Janet (Floyd) Kennedy of Newark, Jeanette (Larry) Alfman of Crooksville and Connie (Jim) Blackburn of Zanesville; four grandchildren, Taylor Love, Tanner German, Lakyn German and Slade German and his step-father, Joe Perani.

Family and friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Wednesday, September 12 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Earl's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 13 at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Crooksville Cemetery.
