Dorus D. "Doug" Wisecarver

Dorus D. "Doug" Wisecarver, 54 of Zanesville, died 12:52 AM, Monday, August 22, 2011 at Genesis Good Samaritan CCU following surgery from injuries sustained following an accident. He was born October 17, 1956 in Zanesville the son of Dorus Seymour Wisecarver and Patricia (Sharkey) Ward. Doug enjoyed motorcycle racing and was a fan of NASCAR.

Doug is survived by his mother; one sister: Dedra (Shane) Parsons of Duncan Falls; one aunt: Susie Wisecarver of Roseville; one uncle: Bill Sharkey of Zanesville; numerous cousins and friends including three very special families: Terry & Kay Frame of Zanesville, The Peck Family of Zanesville and Cynthia Harris & Family of Zanesville.

In addition to his father, Doug was preceded in death by one uncle: Rollin Wisecarver; paternal grandparents: Loren & Anna Wisecarver and maternal grandparents: Warren & Mary Sharkey.

No calling hours or services will be observed and a caring cremation will take place. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Salem Township Cemetery.
