Dorothy F. Truax

September 4, 1933 — July 24, 2015

Dorothy Fontelle Truax, 81, of Newark, Ohio passed away at 9:14 AM, Friday, July 24, 2015 at Licking Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born September 4, 1933 in Columbus, the daughter of the late Philip Henry and Agnes McArdle Truax.

Dorothy worked for numerous people in housekeeping. She attended the Pentecostal church.

She is survived by her sister, Vivian Johnson of Zanesville; her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Carol Truax of Rosefarm and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her sisters, Martha Joan Williams and Sara Eileen Willoughby and her brother, Philip Henry Truax, Jr.

A dignified cremation will take place. A memorial service and a celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 28 at Rosefarm Church of Christ, 8561 McKinley St., Crooksville, Ohio.
