Dorotha F. Carr

Dorotha F. Carr, 87, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 10:30 AM, Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville following an extended illness.

Dorotha was born January 23, 1928 in Rowelsburg, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Ray and Goldie Watkins Bolyard.

She retired from Bryants Corporation in New Lexington. She was a member of Portersville United Methodist Church.

Dorotha is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Linda Ater of Florida, Nina Ater of Deavertown, Scott and Trina Carr and Joe Carr, all of Corning; her sister, Rosemary Taylor of Chillicothe; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her first husband, Melvin 'Perk' Ater; her second husband, Thomas Carr who passed away in 1977; her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Cynthia Carr; her son, Gary Ater; her sister, Joann Bennett and her brother, Richard Bolyard.

A dignified cremation will take place.
