Doris Mae Hoge

Doris Mae Hoge, 90, of Zanesville, passed away on November 12, 2016 at Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care Morrison House in Zanesville.

Doris was born April 27, 1926 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, the daughter of the late James and Margaret (Garris) Sparks.

She worked for local potteries and as a nurse's aid. Doris attended the House of Prayer Church.

Doris is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lee (Becky) Hannold of Zanesville; her sister, Jo Anne Wilson of Duncan Falls; her grandchildren, Jessica Judson and Jared Hannold and her great-grandchild, Eliana Paul.

In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her brothers, Arnold Sparks, Jim Sparks and Stearl Sparks and her sisters, Georgie Edgell, Irene Jadwin, Mary Galloway, Linda Ault and Zella Sparks.

Family and friends will be received, 4:00 PM-7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM with Pastors Dorothy Sowers and Walt Gessner officiating.
