Dollie Jean Lacy

Dollie J. Lacy, 86, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 5:20 PM, Thursday, July 7, 2011 at New Lexington Care and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.

She was born January 5, 1925 in Roseville, the daughter of the late Lowell W. and Helen M. Quillan Emory. Dollie retired for PCC Airfoils in Crooksville. She was Methodist by faith and a member of American Legion Post 71 Auxiliary in Roseville.

Mrs. Lacy is survived by her sister, Violet Morgan of Philo; her step-son, Mike Lacy of Columbus; her aunt, Marjorie Moody of Cheshire; her nieces, Sandy (Richard) Reeves of East Fultonham and Sandy (Randy) Sheline of Roseville; her great nephew, Craig (Robin) Elliott of Philo; several more nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Dollie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Monk" Lacy who passed away in 1987; her brother, Warren Junior Emory; her sisters, Betty Marie Emory and Mabel Inman and her step-daughter, Sandra "Sue" Neff.

Dollie's family will receive visitors 2-4 & 6-8 PM, Saturday, July 9 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Dollie's life will be held at 1:00 PM,. Sunday, July 10 at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Roseville.
