David Len Schooley

David Len Schooley, 61, of California died Wednesday, December 20, 2017 in Sacramento, California following a seven-year battle with, ALS, Barrett’s Cancer and heart failure.

He was born, January 26, 1956 in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of the late James Schooley and Helen M. Smith Schooley of Crooksville.

He is survived by his two older children, David, Brianna; his wife, Clair; his younger children, Nathaniel and Hannah; his sisters, Lori Antonetz, Beth (Rusty) Harper, Mary (Mike) Lundell and his brothers, Mike (Mary) Schooley, Craig (Dawn) Schooley, Lee (Marge) Schooley, Matthew Schooley, James (Karen) Schooley, Andrew (CJ) Schooley, John (Lori) Schooley, Danny Schooley.

In addition to his father, Len is preceded in death by his sister, Susan Schooley; his brothers, George (Linda) Schooley, Kelly Schooley (Vicki Moore) and his nephew Wesley Schooley.

Len was always very kind and had lot of friends in California and in Ohio. The Schooley family asks that you keep him in your prayers.

A memorial service was held for Len by his Ohio family on Christmas Eve.
