Darleen E. Gibbs

Darleen E. Gibbs passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014 in Hollywood, Florida.

Darleen was born in Merrill, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Rollin and Bessie Layman. She married Brian Gibbs of Crooksville, Ohio on March 5, 1955 and together they enjoyed their life together until Brian's death on June 6, 1993.

Darleen is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Michael Antonelli of Davie, Florida; her son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Chris Welty of Denton, Maryland; her granddaughter, Robyn Beninati (Michael); her grandson, Phillip Welty; her niece, Janis (John) Bunch and her nephews, Steven Gilson and Jerry Gilson of Maryland.

Family and friends will be received from 1:00-2:00 PM, Saturday, September 13 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST, CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Darleen's life will be held at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Marc Caton officiating. Burial will follow next to her beloved husband in Crooksville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
