Daisy (Caldwell) Riley

Daisy Riley, 95, of Corning (Portersville), Ohio died at 5:00 AM, Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Genesis Care Center New Lexington following an extended illness.
She was born March 11, 1923 in Pilot, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Jesse and Laura (Noble) Caldwell.
Daisy was a former employee of The Kroger Company where she worked in the meat department in Hamilton and Fairfield, Ohio. She was Protestant by faith.
She is survived by her sisters, Phyllis Lovins of Corning, Euvonnia Allen of Lexington, Kentucky, Onieda Bush of Zanesville and Ica Mays of Irvine Kentucky.
In addition to her parents, Daisy was preceded in death by her first husband, Vernon Booth; her second husband, Robert Riley who died in 1983; her daughter, Verna Lee Booth; her brothers, Eugene, Albert and L.G. Caldwell and her half-brothers, Vincent and Holt Caldwell.
Family and friends will be received at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. A graveside services will be held at 12 Noon, Tuesday at Zion Cemetery in Portersville with John Hershberger officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery
