Cornelius "Neal" Gilvin

Cornelius Gilvin, 58, of Flint Ridge Road, Crooksville, passed away at 11:50 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital after an extended illness. He was born May 30, 1951 in Fleming County, Ky to the late Otho Gilvin and Virginia Humphries Gilvin. Cornelius worked as a diesel mechanic for Center City International in Pataskala. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kathy Crain Gilvin; daughter, Jamie (Jacob Kirkpatrick) Gilvin of Crooksville; his sons, Joe (Vickie) Gilvin and Jeff (Pauline) Gilvin of Crooksville; his sister, Loretta Sue (Donald Richmond) Williams of Wallingford, Ky.; grandchildren, Josh, Joey, Jonathan, Matt, Joselyn, Tanner and Bradey; and a special friend, Jim Stickel of Circleville. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Jackie Allen Gilvin. Friends may call Monday, January 18, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME 36, N.
