Clarence N. "Hutch" Hutchens 77, of New Lexington died peacefully Wednesday, January 06, 2016 at Pickering House in Lancaster following a brief battle with lung cancer. He was born October 11,1938 in Guysville, Ohio, the son of Albert & Alma (Ashcraft) Hutchens and attended the Pentecostal Church in New Lexington.

Hutch served his country as a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Hutch was a avid Ginseng hunter. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a loving and caring father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Hutch is survived by his daughter: Sherry (Terry) Savage of New Lexington; one grandson Jeremy (Kirston Spears) Heft of Zanesville; three granddaughters: Samantha (Aaron Cutright) Smith of New Lexington, Deidra (Ryan Phelps) Smith of Columbus and Terra Savage of New Lexington; three great granddaughters: Davie Paul, Araya Cutright and Karrissa Phelps.

In addition to his parents, Hutch was preceded in death by one sister: Donna Kirkendalh.

Friends may call Friday, January 8, 2016 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at The Goebel Funeral Home, 36 North Buckeye Street, Crooksville, where funeral services to celebrate Hutch's life will follow at 6:00 PM, with the United States Marine Corp conducting full military honors.
