Charles Francis Willison Jr. passed away on May 17, 2024, at the age of 61, following an extended illness. Born on July 23, 1962, in Zanesville, OH, to his parents, Charles and Lucy Willison, he was the first of three children.
Chuck embarked on a career as a Welder and Mechanic, using his skills to create and repair. His love for building and fixing extended beyond the workplace; he found joy in hobbies such as HAM radio, CB radio, fishing, and working on vehicles. Chuck's thrill for mud running and stock car racing was only matched by the pride he felt being around his family whom he deeply loved.
In addition to his beloved parents, he was a loving husband to Pam Bailey, a devoted father to Corri (James) Willison, & his step-daughters, who he dearly cared for, Vicky Piper and April (Liela) Shayeb. He also leaves behind his siblings, Missy (Erick) Harney and Ryan (Dawn) Willison, that provided unwavering support and love throughout his life and was a cherished grandfather to Ari and Zoé Norris. In his 61 years, Chuck built his life around his family, his work, and his passions.
Chuck is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dalbert and Mildred Willison and his maternal grandparents, Clark and Ruth Harding, as well as, his aunts and uncles, Mona Collins, Jane Lear, John Willison, Sr. and Robert Harding.
A man of simple pleasures and deep connections, Chuck was known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear. His memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Funeral services for Charles Francis Willison Jr. will be held at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, with a public viewing starting at 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Chuck will then be buried in Iliff Cemetery. Friends, family, and acquaintances are invited to come together to honor his memory and celebrate his life. Chuck's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
