Charles R. Roach, Sr

Charles Ray Roach, Sr., 83, of Roseville, Ohio passed away at 10:30 PM., Monday, December 12, 2016 at his residence after a sudden illness.

He was born February 13, 1933 in Mt. Vernon, the son of the late Elmer Ray and Helen Leona (Pratt) Roach.

Chuck was a retired engineer of General Electric in Plainville, Connecticut. He was a member of Rolling Plains United Methodist Church in South Zanesville. In his younger days, he enjoyed fishing and playing golf.

Chuck served our country in the US Air Force during the Korean War.

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Charles R. and Lorie Roach, Jr. of Beavercreek, Timothy and Elizabeth Roach of Cape Cod, Massachusetts and Thomas and Brigitte Roach of Charlotte, North Carolina and his grandchildren, Louise Elizabeth Roach, Michael Timothy Roach, Logan Thomas Roach, Joshua Charles Wilson Roach, Erick Biederman and Shannan Biederman.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Jene A. (Skinner) Roach who passed away March 6, 2009 and two sisters.

In keeping with his wishes, Chuck will be cremated. A memorial service will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Rolling Plains United Methodist Church in Zanesville with Pastor John Alice officiating.
