Brian Lee Bolyard

April 27, 1943 — June 15, 2010

Brian Lee Bolyard, 67 of Stockport, formerly of Zanesville, passed away at 10:10 pm Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville with his family at his side. He was born April 27, 1943 in Deerfield Township, the third son of the late Emmett F. and Irene (Edgell) Bolyard. He retired after 39 years with Burnham Foundry Zanesville, was a 1961 York High School graduate and a US Army Veteran. Brian was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and especially bingo.

Brian is survived by his daughter, Roxanne (Tony) Riley of Stockport; three grandchildren: Arka B. Valentine and Phillip Valentine of New Lexington and Ryan Hess of Stockport; one brother: Larry (Gayle) Bolyard of Deavertown; one step-son: Phillip (Sue) Holbert, Jr. of Zaneville; three step-daughters: Marybelle Cummings of Zanesville, Sylvia (Hank) Evans of Crooksville and Becky (Jimmy) Durant of Cambridge; two step-sons from his first marriage: Michael (Darlene) Dawson of Malta and David (Berenice) Dawson of Pennsville; three stepdaughters: Kay Trader of Haydenville, Beth Cole of Chesterhill and Lisa (Terry) Page of Pennsville; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his loving wife Beverly Ann (McCoid) Bolyard who passed away on March 13,2007; two son-in-laws: Leo Trader and Larry Cole; a step-grandson: Jim Dawson and a brother: Hugh T. Bolyard.

The Bolyard family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday, June 20, 2010 at the GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE where funeral services and a celebration of Brian's life will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, June 21 with Pastor Dean Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery, Portersville with full military honors.

Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville. Funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 21 at the funeral home with Pastor Dean Blackburn officiating. Burial in Zion Cemetery, Portersville with full military honors.
