Brenda K. Scaggs

Brenda K. Scaggs, 47, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 4:20 AM, Monday, October 17, 2011 at Genesis Hospice Morrison in Zanesville surrounded by her loving family following a short illness.

Brenda was born September 23, 1964 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Carroll Melvin and Donna Jean Smith Wolfe.

Mrs. Scaggs was a crew leader at Save-a-lot in New Lexington.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 22 years, Michael Scaggs; her daughter, Amanda (John) Delong of Crooksville; her son, Daniel Scaggs of Crooksville; her sisters, Carolyn Kirkpatrick, Connie Wolfe and Bonnie Wolfe, all of Crooksville; her brothers, Chris (Jeanette) Wolfe and David Wolfe all of Crooksville and Sam (Lorie) Wolfe of Newark; three grandchildren, Johnathon Delong, Ryder Delong and Mackenzie Scaggs and step-daughter, Heather Scaggs of Zanesville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Vicki Lytton.

Family and friends will be received 2-8 PM, Wednesday, October 19 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. A Remembrance service will be held at 8:00 PM at the funeral home led by Gary Stoneking.

Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care, 713 Forest Ave., Zanesville, Ohio 43701. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
