Betty Ruth Mauller, 83, of Roseville, Ohio died at 11:07 AM, Thursday, May 19, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born Friday, September 9, 1938 in Crooksville, the daughter of the late Charles and Martha (nee: Dennis) Kinney.
Betty was a former employee of Essex Wire in Zanesville and her most last job was as a transit driver for Perry County Childrens’ Services. In her younger days, she was an avid fisherman. She loved to crochet ( she could even crochet in the dark) and working puzzle books. She had a passion for helping homeless and needy people. She was an great cook and made the best pies ever.
Left behind to mourn her passing are her children and their spouses, Nancy Walton (Rocky Baker), Scelenia (Howard) Buskirk, Betty Kinney, Franklin (Srey) Dyer, Arthur Mauller and Charles (Wanda) Mauller; her step-children, Mark (Candy) Mauller, Raymond Mauller, Arta Miller and Carolyn (Jim) Gladman; her siblings, Biddie Davis, Richard (Eva) Kinney, Willie Kinney, George (Nora) Kinney, Alva (Pam) Kinney and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Mary Jane Dyer and her siblings, Johnny, Charles Elmer and Hayes Kinney, Martha Evelene Dyer and Nancy Kinney.
Family and friends will be received 3-7:30 PM, Tuesday, May 24 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 7:30 PM with Rev. Michael Moler as celebrant. .Following the services, Betty will be cremated. She will be laid to rest at a later date next to her beloved daughter, Mary Jane in New Lexington, Cemetery.
