Barney L. Printz

Barney L. Printz, 71 of Mohican Dr., Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 12:20 P.M., Saturday, April 10, 2010. He was born February 14, 1939 in Crooksville the son of the late George "Snort" and Anna Brunton Printz.

Barney was the former operator of Cable TV and currently was a Harrison Township trustee. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of Ducks Unlimited, VFW Post 9090-Crooksville-Roseville, Crooksville Eagles 1979 and American Legion Post 222 in Crooksville.

He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Jean Stought Printz; his daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Steve Jones of Virginia; his sons and daughter-in-law, Don Printz of Columbus and Tim and Kelly Printz of Crooksville; his grandchildren, Colton Jones, Jade Printz and Kenzie Printz. In addition to his parents, Barney was preceded in death by his half-brother, Dick Brown.

The Printz family will receive visitors beginning at 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 12 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE where funeral services and a celebration of Barney's life will be held at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Tom Locke officiating. In keeping with Barney's wishes, cremation will follow.
