Aunda B. (Harper) Van Ness

Aunda B. (Harper) Van Ness, 72, passed away at 6:58 PM, Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus following an extended illness.

She was born April 9, 1944 in Crooksville, the daughter of the late George and Annabelle (Landerman) Watts.

Aunda was a retired business owner. She was a Christian and a former member of Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shellie and Matt Myers of Hopewell; her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Gretchen Harper of Malta; her sisters, Marlene Woodward of Deavertown and Ethel Jones of McConnelsville; her grandsons, Stephen, Seth, and Shawn Myers and three great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Georgeann McPeek.

Family and friends will be received 1:00-6:00 PM, Thursday, June 16 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Aunda's life will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home with Eric Blake officiating. Cremation will follow.
