Arthur Andrew Miller, 70, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 11:32 PM, Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the residence of his daughter following an extended illness.

Arthur was born February 28, 1942 in Kentucky, the son of the late Samuel and Maxine Russell Miller.

Art was a retired brick mason and general masonry from Casa Grande in Pataskala. He was the owner and operator of Pop's Water Hauling in the Crooksville area.

Art is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Marjorie and Thomas Slayton of Corning, Andrea and Michael Cross of Crooksville and Sylvia Snyder of Crooksville; his sons and daughter-in-law, Richard and Joyce Miller and Sam Miller all of Crooksville; his grandchildren, Daniel Miller, Summer Frey, Johnda Frey, Thomas "Boo" Slayton, Arthur "Ty" Slayton, Bobby Slayton, Dacotah Slayton, Little Richard Miller, Brittney Pickering, Todd Williams, Eric Kincaid, Little Sammy Miller, Sheila Miller, Chelsea Miller, Angel Miller, Zachary Cross, Chantelle Cross, Christina Cross and Kayla Butler; great grandchildren, Tionna Love, Joey Miller, Klohie Maxine Rosa, Erica Kincaid, Caden Williams, Kylha Pickering, Rishelle Pickering, Brianna Miller, Hunter Cross, Owen Stalling, Novalei Cross, Ruthie Butler, and Melanie Ellis and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila L. Boothe Miller who passed away April 3, 2012; daughter, Maxine Miller; his son, Arthur Miller, Jr.; his grandchildren, Amy Lynn Miller, Samantha Jo Miller, and John Fredrick Frey, IV and his brother, Samuel Miller.

Family and friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Friday, May 18, 2012 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Arthur's life will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 19 with brother-in-law, John Mahoney officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb Cemetery next to his wife and daughter.
