Wanda L. (Bowers) Longstreth

Wanda L. Longstreth, 94, of Zanesville, Ohio, formerly of Crooksville passed away peacefully at 12:45 AM, Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Altercare in Zanesville.  She was born September 30, 1928 in Granville, the daughter of the late Melvin and Freda (nee: Wright) Bowers.  Wanda was a homemaker, a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and sister.  She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching her favorite shows on television, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.  Wanda prided herself in knowing the answers better than the contestants a lot of the time.  She had attended Norval Park Church of Christ in Zanesville.  Left behind to mourn her passing are her sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Carol Longstreth and Mark and Kandy Longstreth; her sister, JoAnn Sowers; her grandchildren, Brandon (Shannon) Longstreth, Lesley Longstreth, Gina (Ryan) Gruebmeyer, Dana (Kory) Winter, Mike (Jennifer) Nesselroad, Neil (Myranda) Nesselroad, Heath (Annie) Nesselroad and Anita (Stacey) Ragland; her great-grandchildren, Seth McGuire, Carleigh Wagner, Randall Caulin Longstreth, Brandon Longstreth, Jr., Sebastian Longstreth, Connor and Elliott Gruebmeyer, and Kal and Collins Winter, Ashton, Avery, Alia, Alaina, Henry and Cordie Nesselroad.  In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Randall L. Longstreth who died February 5, 2006; her siblings, Clarence Bowers and Maxine Barr and her mother-in-law, Josephine Longstreth.  Family and friends may visit to pay their respects 12-2 PM, Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N.
