I have known Marge through Olen for the past 50 years. What a fiesty spirit and independent drive Marge had. I never knew about the Rosie the Riviter connection, but I can truly see the connection now. She had a strong survivor mode and stamina from that era. It is amazing to think she was so self sufficient for so many years. What a wonderful legacy she has left her two children and family. God be with you, Marge.

Remember her and she was so sweet to all of us. I graduated with the class of 1963. Also volunteer in the kitchen for awhile.

My heart goes out to Olen and Karen and their families. I have a lifetime of warm memories spent with Aunt Margie. From the time I was a child she was always so welcoming. I pray that the original McGee eight are together again.

Hello Karen, I am so sorry to hear about your Mother. My mom still lives with us. She is also 98. I can't image the pain you are going thru. Only the hope of the resurrection gives me comfort when I THINK of mom dying. Please contact me if you ever need to talk. I am so sorry for your loss.

Olen and Karen,
Your mother will always have a place of fondness in my heart as one of those people that a child looks up to at school! I am sure that she will be remembered by hundreds throughout the years. I am so sorry for your loss.
